well, im moving house sometime this year, and so ive now gotten a bigger room. i'd like some more help and ideas on what to do with it, ive done a mock up of the sort of thing i would like it to be using sketchup, very handy tool. please help :)

okay, i think this is it.
i cannot browse below ~/Documents by going to 127.0.0.1/~zim. but i can browse freely by going to 127.0.0.1.
dunno what the deal is, but at least i have a solution. and what i said above about ditching the link at /Library/WebServer/Documents/Documents should be ignored. it's needed.

Unfortunately there does not seem to be a good way to sync most LG phones with a mac computer. The only thing I have come across is Bit Pim and its reviews are pretty spotty.

I used greenpois0n to jailbreak my iPod Touch 2g and it worked great. Maybe it was because I was using a mac? If you want to change the greenpois0n skull boot logo go to settings and then boot logo. There you can change it back or install more on Cydia.

Posting this from my new 27" iMac, purchased from Best Buy!
I got the lower base 27" model for $1615 + tax, so I'm pretty happy. The $85 I saved will pay for an extra 8GB of RAM :) Going to have some dev VMs running on this sucker with no problems.

I got mine ordered as well! i went with the high end 27", with the sale going on it cost me $2038 including tax. i read a forum post on macrumors that said that the imacs are having issues with screen yellowing. i'm starting to worry about it a little bit haha

The only logical thing, should anything get released, would be Final Cut Server.
Other related products are DVD Studio Pro 5, Blu-Ray Drives, Phenomenon (Shake Successor) and Cinema Displays. I do not expect the first three until NAB at the earliest. The Displays maybe at the developers conference.
Apple would not announce Newton 2 at a Final Cut User Event.
Altogether accurate except for the fact that FCS wouldn't qualify as much of a secret. If you read the thread on the original appleinsider article, you'd get a hint as to why Jobsy didn't show:

In all my years visiting rumour sites, I've never got my hopes up about something only to learn that it was a fabrication by a singular person in the industry I work with some kind of agenda (presumably to increase turnout at his FC Meet). I have been using Photoshop since 2.0 and CS was by far the most disappointing upgrade so far... the added features are very minor and they broke a few things... the type tool is less useful than it was in 7.0 - that irritating underline can't be hidden, so text below 9 points is impossible to read while typing... you can't drag downwards to select the entire line of text, so if the text runs off the screen, there is no way to select all the text in the line. The other thing that changed for the worse - the transform functionality was totally botched - maybe the handles are more sensitive? I find myself moving rather than scaling all too often - and skew text rather than moving it.
Come on, is moving really transforming? Who uses the transform command to move something? And what serious designer skews text?
I'm also bitter that they dropped LiveMotion... I bought Flash MX but the interface is so awful I still find myself using LiveMotion to create projects that have to be completed on a tight deadline...

I say may the best man (company) win. To be honest, and this is just opinion, I think Cisco threw the "iPhone" out there because they knew the real iPhone was coming (as did we all) and wanted to bank on it somehow, just like I'm sure iPhone-related email addresses were swiped up recently too.
I could be wrong, but prove it.
