i went to the store and checked out these speakers, and although they aren't *quite* as good as the klipsch's they come real damn close, and look damn nice too. I'm surprised nobody suggested them..

The power support screen protectors seem to cover edge to edge.
There is a tiny raised lip on the edge of the iphone 4 screen, the power support seems to fit right up to it.

It's colour, so it's complicated and could be due to any one of a number of issues.
Here's something to try.
[1] Open �Save for Web and Devices�.
[2] Click on the triangle above the settings pane. Choose �convert to sRGB�
[3] Click on the triangle above the preview pane. Choose �Use Document Colour Profile�.
The second step is to preview the colour accurately.

My MPB has a 200GB hardrive. I'm running 32 bit Vista. I tend to play Windows games so I allocated 80GB to Windows but then purchased two small (3x5x.5") travel hard drives- a 200GB drive for Windows and a 500GB drive for Mac stuff. This arrangement has worked well for me.

Would have been there, but.... Had to do the family thing and so far, the last OS is working fine for us. It's about a 2 hour drive for me to Penn, if it were Quail Springs, I might have made the trip.
I was in Penn last weekend just to pick up 2 things. Took about 30 minutes just to get someone to scan so I could pay. So many people in there just to play with stuff with no intentions on buying, and taking up employee's time, makes me mad.
I'm waiting to hear how good the new OS really is. Is it worth buying? I'm still running 2 G4's and don't know if the upgrade will really help me.

I bought my iMac in 2008 and I did not upgraded to Leopard or Snow Leopard. Lion will be released soon. Can I wait until Lion is released and then upgrade to Lion or will I be required to upgrade to Leopard prior to upgrading to Lion:confused?:?
If you bought it new in it came with Leopard (10.5). When Lion (10.7) is released, you can upgrade directly to it without first upgrading to Snow Leopard (10.6).

Like I said, I'm just waiting for the WWDC announcement before I take any further action. If Apple says a July release, I might wait. If they say September, I'll have to freeze myself like Cartman.
I should also mention that any decision I make will also depend on the price. If Lion is $129, I'll be persuaded to wait. If it is substantially less (say around $29-$49), I'll definitely buy the iMac sooner than later.

Price is certainly a consideration. But as some have pointed out, with the Mac App Store, they may very well sell the DL version for less. I also hope Lion gets rid of the traditional optical and goes USB or DL only. That said I would love to see all restore disks be USB but I'm not sure that OS X can boot from a USB?

I don't think it affects resale, however I prefer that my restore disk be Lion. Let's say you want to do a wipe and reinstall for some reason. I suppose you could install Lion without your restore disk, but Lion won't include iLife on it, so you still need to go back and install those Apps from the original restore disk. Just more of a pain.

Been using iKleer Apple Polish on case ,keyboard and screen, on a COOL laptop, ALWAYS spray on a Microfiber cloth, NEVER on the machine itself.

I have a Mx 1000 too, and as everyone else has said, it is the best mouse I have ever used. It glides effortlessly on my desk and is very accurate and smooth. At first, it sees a little big and heavy, but you get used to it because it is very comfortable. According to logitech's site, the battery lasts 21 days. I haven't timed it, but that is about how long it lasts for me. Amazon had the cheapest price when I ordered it. Check there. It is a bit expensive, but it's worth every penny.

No, I believe you should find yourself in the majority. The minority lives here at MacRumors -- users that notice every small issue.
For example, I didn't notice the OpenGL slowdown with 10.6.4 until someone mentioned it and I ran a benchmark. Why? I don't play very many games and my computer has a Core i7 processor. Had I not read about it, I wouldn't have even noticed (probably).
